About Stefanie

A little about me - I'm a graduate of UGA, where I majored in Anthropology. As a teenager and young adult, my curiosity about other people and cultures was just begging to be documented, and I began learning photography on an old film SLR camera. Digital opened up a whole new world for me, and when my son was born in 2006, we purchased our first digital camera. Now, 10 years and several cameras later, I have learned the joy of not only photographing my children but so much more! 

I'm currently living in East Cobb with my husband and 2 kids, ages 7 and 10. After college, I became involved in Montessori education. My photography hobby followed me into the classroom, and I love documenting how children grow and change. All the years of working with children has shaped my art. The natural world is also a big part of my work and I shoot mostly outdoors, using natural light. Thank you for considering me to capture a glimpse of your life - both the every day and the special days.
